Sr Marie Therese has returned home to New Zealand to visit family and friends after spending three years working in the Marist Sisters’ mission in Ukraine. During that time she also spent time in some of the Marist Sisters communities in New Zealand. It was interesting to hear of her experiences over the last three years and to learn something of the history of the Ukraine. Marie Therese has now returned to the Ukraine where she lives in community with two other Marist Sisters. She enjoys extending hospitality to those who visit the community and spending time in the garden. Learning the Russian language is another activity that takes her time but she is making good progress.
