In Memoriam

Eternal rest grant to them O Lord may perpetual light shine upon them may they rest in peace. Amen   We give thanks for the lives of our deceased sisters and live in the belief that they are reaping the joys of eternal life.

To whom it may concern. Sister Norma was one of my teachers at Primary school in Wellington NZ. I saw quite a lot of her when I was living in Sydney in the 70’s. I also called to see her and Sister Dorothea White when they both lived together in Melbourne at Laverton.

Sister Dorothea took over writing to me once Sister Norma was unable to. I did not receive a Christmas card from Dorothea last year. I did try to track her down last January and was given a number to call but was told she was not at this number and they didn’t know where she was. I called the number she gave me today but only got the answer phone, I left a message that I would call back. However have since done some research on the net and see that both Norma and Dorothea have passed away. I suspect Dorothea must have been unwell for some time because it was not like her to not write to me. The last time I spoke with Norma she sounded good but clearly her mind was not as good as it used to be. They were both lovely ladies and I so enjoyed catching up with them when I used to visit Australia over the years. I also used to catch up with Norma whenever she visited NZ. Lovely memories. kind regards, Wanda

Would you please e-mail to me the In Memoriam profile of my late aunt Sister Rita Gardiner SM, who was my late Mother’s sister originally from Co. Roscommon, Ireland. I have just noticed on your website that such profiles are uploaded, and that I had missed the one relating to my aunt. Trusting that this will not cause any inconvenience and thanking your in anticipation.

Yours sincerely,

Joseph Langwell
